"Coronavirus" as a Marketing Tools

      "Coronavirus" as a Marketing Tools

Hello Folks!!

By reading the title of the blog, most of you would have several questions in your mind and the most common question that you all will have is that how coronavirus can be used as a marketing tool? In this situation of coronavirus where most of the businesses are temporarily closed and are facing lots of problem like many companies are unable to reach their customers, unable to promote their brand, unable to gain popularity in the market, etc. But none of you would have consider coronavirus as an opportunity to promote their brands.

Today I will focus on the how you can take advantage of coronavirus and promote your brand name & improve your marketing strategies. There are several tips for marketing in this situation but the most effective ways are :-

1. Reassure Your Customers About How Your Company is Responding to the Pandemic.

2. Move Your Brand Online To Stay Connected To Your Customers.

3. Focus on Strengthening Your Relationship With Your Customers.

4. Infuse Empathy in your Marketing Communications.

5. Reflect on Your Company Values During this Lockdown & Refocus Your Engagement

    Strategies.

6. Avoid the Hard Sell and Reaffirm Your Commitments to the Long Run.

7. Help Your Customers Navigate the situation and Pivot as Necessary.

The best way to achieve it is to go DIGITAL!! Create a creative video ads, digital poster, etc which promotes safety measures from coronavirus and spread as much as you can with the help of social media applications like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Youtube, etc.

The best example of using "Coronavirus" as a marketing tool was recently done by McDonald which is an American fast food company, founded in 1940 as a restaurant and has 37,855 restaurants around 120 countries.

What McDonald had done in this coronavirus situation is that they had slightly changed their logo and represents the new logo in such a way that it form a message behind it. McDonald had altered iconic mark in Brazilian campaign to encourage safety for all during coronavirus pandemic, Agency DPZ &T teamed with McDonald’s Brazil to reconceive the Golden Arches in pulled-apart form to encourage consumers to keep each other safe through social distancing. According to the shop, the move is meant to convey the idea that we are "separated for a moment so that we can always be together."

Why McDonald changed their logo?? What s' the main benefit from it??

Changing the logo is a big decision for any big company because sometimes their logo creates a value for them. But McDonald want to address their concern regarding coronavirus among people and want to aware safety measures to their customer which is social distancing by pulling apart the golden arches and convey a message throughout the world.

Now comes the main point, What s' the benefit from changing the logo?? The first and foremost benefit is the value that people will have toward the company which is one of the main aim of any marketing strategies that company try to achieve. Secondly, the trust that people will have toward the company which will directly be beneficial in future. Lastly, it builds good relations with customer that all company wants from their customer which will help the company in long run to grow.

Hello Folks!!!!

The first thing that arises on people s' minds when they see the word "Marketing" is promotion, sales, advertisements which is partly correct. Remember one thing that the main aim of any marketer should be to communicate, deliver, create value to the consumer.

Now talking more into detail about marketing, It is made up of 4 elements....1. Product (Physical product or service that you provide to the customers) 2.
